University Records and Information Management

Records and information management (RIM) is the field of management responsible for the efficient and systematic control of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposal of records, including processes for capturing and maintaining evidence of and information about business activities and transactions in the form of records (ISO 15489-1:2001). University Archives provides resources to assist campus units in meeting their responsibility to manage information in order to ensure adequate documentation and preservation of institutional history.
