Mary Hebert: Did you always want to go to LSU?

Oliver Mack: Yeah. Yeah, I . . . Because my mother had gone to school down there and I used to follow the LSU football team. I used to listen to Billy Cannon, you know, when he was in . . . LSU had a national championship and the Chinese Bandits and the Gold Team and the White Team, and I used to follow that by radio. I mean, that was the only way I could ever listen to it. The games on the radio and they would be on the news on television, and I really got excited about LSU through those things.
