Mary Hebert: What about football games? Did ROTC go as a unit?

Jack Gremillion: Yes. At that particular time we all had tickets and the student body in those days - it's quite different now - used to sit as a group right with the band. And you were more or less obligated to go. Of course that was one of the fine things about it. LSU had a good team. Night football had just come in. And at one game, the homecoming game, you were obligated to wear your pajamas. We did. I did, and that was all part of the tradition and the ceremony that followed as a result of you being a freshman.
