Cecil Taylor

Cecil Taylor was a prominent member of the LSU faculty for nearly half a century. He began his LSU career as a French professor from 1936 to 1949. He later became Dean of Arts and Sciences from 1949 to 1965. He was promoted to Chancellor of the university and served from 1965 to 1974.
