Bud Johnson: I saw him [Y.A. Tittle] lose his pants against Ole Miss in his senior year. He intercepted a pass. Players played both ways at that time. He intercepted this pass and had nothing but grass in front of him. An Ole Miss player dove for him and grabbed his belt and the belt buckle broke. And as he ran, his pants started sliding down. So he was holding his pants with one hand and the ball with the other and gradually was . . .the Ole Miss players caught him from behind.

Emily Nemens: Oh, man.

Johnson: So that was one of the big moments in LSU football history with Y.A. Tittle losing his pants against Ole Miss.
