In almost every case, Interlibrary loan is free to use. LSU Libraries covers up to $65 per request. If our cost exceeds $65, we will email and ask you to pay the overage amount before we proceed with the request.

LSU Library sometimes accepts book donations. To donate scholarly books, please contact your subject specialist. For non-scholarly books, the LSU Library has a free book exchange in room 241. To donate to the book exchange, please contact Mitch Fontenot at mfonten@lsu.edu. (mailto:mfonten@lsu.edu) The Friends of the LSU Libraries accept donations for their annual book bazaar and the book barn. Proceeds from the bazaar help fund special purchases for the libraries collections. Please contact the Friends at 225-578-5925. Thanks for considering donating to us!
