Library Catalog Keyword Search Bookmark
Add this bookmark to your browser for a quick keyword search of the Libraries catalog. Highlight text on a web page, click the bookmark, and search results will open in a separate window.
Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari: Drag this Keyword Library Lookup link to your bookmarks toolbar.
Internet Explorer: Right-click this Keyword Library Lookup link, click Add to Favorites, select Favorites Bar from Create in drop-down menu, click Add.

Install this add-on to get a LSU LibX search button that provides searching, off-campus access to electronic resources, and more. LibX 2.0 works in Firefox and Google Chrome. Learn more about LibX.
Proxy Bookmark
Add this bookmark to your browser for access to the library proxy. While viewing a page that does not recognize you as being affiliated with LSU, click the bookmark to reload the page via the proxy. This allows you to view the page as though you were on campus, giving you access to licensed materials. If you have not already authenticated via the proxy, you will be prompted for your Tiger card or LSUID number and your PIN.

WorldCat Local Plus Bookmark
Add this bookmark to your browser for three quick WorldCat Local searches:- If you are looking at a book in Amazon, click the bookmark and WorldCat Local will search for that book.
- If you are not on the Amazon website and have text selected, click the bookmark and WorldCat Local will search for the selected text.
