Macro Express: Creating Text Macros Using the Quick Wizard


  1. Click the Quick Wizards icon in the Actions column

  2. Select Text and then click Next

  3. Select Type Text or Keystrokes and then click Next

  4. Click Next

  5. Enter the text you want typed into your program and then click Next

  6. Select Hotkey and click Next

  7. Select a Hotkey from the list and click Next. The Hotkey will be used to activate the macro. Do not select Hotkeys that are pre-assigned to certain programs.

  8. Select Play back in specific programs and then click Next

  9. Click the Select button to specify the programs to play back in

  10. Select the program from the list on the left

  11. Click the Add button; leave Run If On Top checked

  12. Click OK and then click Next

  13. Type a Macro Nickname

  14. Click the Change Icon button and then the Browse button

  15. Select an icon, click Open, and then click OK

  16. Click Finish
