Macro Express: Creating Text Macros Using the Quick Wizard
- Click the Quick Wizards icon in the Actions column
- Select Text and then click Next
- Select Type Text or Keystrokes and then click Next
- Click Next
- Enter the text you want typed into your program and then click Next
- Select Hotkey and click Next
- Select a Hotkey from the list and click Next. The Hotkey will be used to activate the macro. Do not select Hotkeys that are pre-assigned to certain programs.
- Select Play back in specific programs and then click Next
- Click the Select button to specify the programs to play back in
- Select the program from the list on the left
- Click the Add button; leave Run If On Top checked
- Click OK and then click Next
- Type a Macro Nickname
- Click the Change Icon button and then the Browse button
- Select an icon, click Open, and then click OK
- Click Finish
