Macro Express: Program Preferences
The following preferences will make Macro Express work better:
- From the menu, click on Options, Preferences
- Click on Miscellaneous in the column on the left
- Make sure the following options are checked:
- Auto Restore Keyboard Hooks
- Send HotKey in Window Activation
- Attach Thread Input in Window Activation
- Click on Startup in the column on the left
- Make sure the Start Editor on startup of Macro Express option is not checked. This option will cause Macro Express to open but not display. Instead, an icon will appear in the system tray. All you have to do is click once on the icon to open Macro Express.
