Configuring your Browser to Adjust Margins During Printing

PROBLEM

When a user prints from Internet Explorer, part of the page is missing from the hard copy, usually the right side of the page is missing.
 

SOLUTION

You should adjust the Page Setup to "Landscape."

• Always look for a Printable view, which will usually remove ads and fit to a regular sized page.
• Check the Print Preview from the File menu of IE. Since IE regularly has web pages larger than 'portrait' size 8 1/2" x 11" paper, it's always a good idea to check the print preview before printing out garbage. If it's not right, adjust the page setup to landscape. File > Page Setup > change Orientation to Landscape.
• Preview from the Page Setup window, if you like.
• Click OK.
• Print as usual.
• Make sure to change it back to Portrait after printing.
