  • How do I create a poppad?

Why aren't my colors being saved?

If you are creating background or foreground colors with the color palette, you must save them as a color scheme.

  1. Create your system colors through the color palette
  2. Set your background and/or foreground colors
  3. Click on the Save As button
  4. Type a name in the box and click the OK button
  5. Click the OK button in the upper right corner

How do I get URLs to appear highlighted?

In HostExplorer, URLs are considered "hotspots". Set hotspots to display and the URLs will be highlighted.

  1. On the menu bar, click Options
  2. Click on Edit Session Profile
  3. Expand the Display folder by clicking on the plus (+) sign
  4. Click on General
  5. Select Show Hotspots
  6. Click on the OK button in the upper right corner
  7. On the menu bar, click Options
  8. Click on Hotspots
  9. Deselect the the first two boxes under Default Hotspots
  10. Click the Close button

How do I get HostExplorer to close after logging out?

  1. On the menu bar, click Options
  2. Click on Edit Session Profile
  3. Expand the Session folder by clicking on the plus (+) sign
  4. Click on General
  5. Click on the Upon Disconnect from Host drop-down menu and select Close Session Window
  6. Click the OK button

How do I create a desktop icon?
  1. Open the session
  2. On the menu bar, click File
  3. Click Save Session Profile
  4. Select Create Shortcut
  5. Click the Save button
  6. In the Browse for Folder window, scroll to the top, select Desktop and click the OK button

Why doesn't my keypad work?

By default, NumLock is being ignored. Change the session profile as follows:

  1. On the menu bar, click Options
  2. Click on Edit Session Profile
  3. Expand the Terminal folder by clicking on the plus (+) sign
  4. Click on Keyboard
  5. Deselect Ignore NumLock state
  6. Click on the OK button in the upper right corner

How do I create a quickkey?
  1. On the menu bar, click Options
  2. Click on Quick-Keys
  3. Type a name in the Quick-Key Name box
  4. Enter the keyboard sequence in the Assigned Quick-Key String by typing, pasting and/or appending functions. Enclose text in quotation marks.
  5. Click the Set button
  6. Click the Close button
  7. Map the quick-key to the keyboard or add it to a poppad

How do I add buttons to the toolbar?

  1. On the menu bar, click Options
  2. Click on Edit Session Profile
  3. Expand the Terminal folder by clicking on the plus (+) sign
  4. Click on Toolbar
  5. From the Tool to Change drop down menu, select any of the [space] holders after the Clear button
  6. Select the Button you want
  7. Select the Function Group that contains the Function you want assigned to the button
  8. Select the Function
  9. Click the Change button
  10. Click the OK button

How do I change the size of the toolbar buttons?
  1. On the menu bar, click Edit
  2. Click on Options
  3. Expand the Terminal folder by clicking on the plus (+) sign
  4. Click on Toolbar
  5. Select or deselect Large Icons in the Toolbar Options section
  6. Click the OK button
