Unicorn: Updating WorkFlows Java Client

  1. Open Java Workflows and log in.
  2. Click Yes when you see "Update staff client"
  3. Click OK when you see "Staff client is exiting. Restart to install." (NOTE: Restart WorkFlows, not your PC.)
  4. Open Java Workflows.
  5. Just let the files unzip on their own.
  6. Click Next on Welcome.
  7. Click Yes on Software License Agreement.
  8. Click OK when you see "custom" file found, custom.jar will not be overwritten.
  9. Click OK when you see "Install will now launch the WorkFlows Client. Please log into your ILS server to apply the most current updates, then exit the Client to finish the install."
  10. Click Finish on Setup Complete. (NOTE: This window is often hidden behind the configuration screen. You must click Finish before you click OK on the Configuration screen.
  11. Click OK on Configuration.
  12. Login.
  13. You should now have the new Workflows Java client. Click Help on the menu bar; then About… to verify the version of your Workflows Java client is 3.2.1.2.14.
