Requesting An Account
It would be best if you do NOT request a PAWS account, mostly because each of you already has one. If you are taking a class, serving on university committees, or working on a project which requires that you use PAWS instead of Notes, Aimee Fifarek can help you get to it. If you do request one, there may be confusion between multiple accounts.
Passwords
Your PAWS password is set in a different place than in the Notes client. You can make them the same.Top
- In PAWS, Maintain Preferences, PAWS Password. Enter old password, then new one twice.
- Through your Notes client, go to the LSU Address Book. Look up your own entry. Edit the record. Edit the field called Internet or HTTP Password. When you click on Save and Close, the password will be encrypted so you can no longer see it.
Problems
If you have problems getting into PAWS, call the Help Desk at 8-0100.
