Description: Each summer, McKinley High school students with the assistance of faculty and students from College of Education conduct interviews on the African American experience in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since 1995, the students have conducted interviews on the history of McKinley High School, established in 1926; African American businesses during the period of segregation; and the history of black churches in Baton Rouge.
