Policies & Procedures: Circulation Policy
Hill Memorial Library is a closed stack library. Researchers may not access the stacks directly. In order to obtain materials from the Special Collection's holdings, researchers must search the Library's items via the online and card catalogs, manuscript finding aids and subject guides. Reference librarians at the reading room reference desk may also help patrons to identify relevant items.
Then patrons are asked to submit request slips obtained at the reading room reference desk. Requested materials that are available for use are delivered to patrons. Patrons may then take their requested items to a desk in the reading room where reference librarians are available for assistance.
Patrons may also place the items they have requested on hold for immediate future use.
