A. C. Skiles was a retail lumber dealer in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
Business records consist chiefly of correspondence with suppliers and customers and include bills, receipts, and printed items. Manuscript volumes include a letterpress copy book (1901-1902), ledgers (1895-1909), sales books (1900-1912), journals (1902-1912), cash books (1901-1907), petty cash account books (1903-1912), an index (1898), and day books (1901-1905).
