BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL NOTE
The Louisiana Industrial Nurses Association was a chapter of the American Association of Industrial Nurses, an organization created in 1942 with the purpose of improving occupational health programs and services and enhancing career opportunities for occupational and environmental health nurses. The American Association of Industrial Nurses adopted the name American Association of Occupational Health Nurses in 1977.
