BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL NOTE
Philip Preston Johnston, Jr., was a resident of Lexington, Ky., and one of four brothers who attended Louisiana State University from 1892 to 1896.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of group pictures of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, the 1894 football team, the Class of 1895, and probably three of the four Johnston brothers; and individual pictures of 17 identified LSU cadets, 2 unidentified LSU cadets, and Charles W. Short, Jr., 1903, probably not an LSU student.
