Joseph P. Hornor was an attorney and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
Invitations, programs, cards, badges, and related manuscript items reflect Hornor's membership in Masonic and Mardi Gras organizations and social clubs in New Orleans. Organizations represented in the collection include the Louisiana Jockey Club, the Metairie Jockey Club, the Shakespeare Club, the Strikers Club, the Washington Artillery (a Confederate Army unit from Louisiana), the Knights Templar, the Scottish Rite Masons, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
