1996 APPIC MEMBERSHIP SURVEY
This year 's survey is broad in scope and deals with the following areas: the imbalance of applicants in relation to internship positions (Ql) , a potential computer matching system (Q2-Q6) , use of generic forms for application and verification of pre-internship experience (Q7-Q14) , continuing effects of managed care on internship programs (Q15-Q23) , and the 1997 Midwinter meeting (Q24-Q25).
1. There is a real or perceived excess of applicants in relation to available internship positions. What, if anything, should APPIC do about this?
