SUBJECT: Nomination of APA Member Psychologists of Color to Serve on APA Governance Groups

The Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs (CEMA), submits the attached slates of psychologists of color for nomination to serve on APA governance groups. These CEMA nominations are provided in response to the 1996 Call for Nominations. CEMA has verified that these psychologists of color are APA members.

In addition, CEMA was particularly glad to read specific language in the various boards' and committees' Nomination Statements that encourage the nomination of psychologists of color. CEMA applauds those APA governance groups that have expressed a desire to include a multicultural perspective to the composition of their group's membership. To that end, CEMA believes that the attached roster of ethnic minority nominees will serve to successfully achieve this goal.
