Dear Ken,
As I mentioned to you on the phone, we have now received four applications
for Division 40 Newsletter Editor position, and I am enclosing these applications
with this letter. I would really appreciate your going over these applications
and then calling me with your impressions. I have made copies for Bobbi
also, and I am asking her to call me as well. Between the 3 of us, hopefully
we can select the right editor. I agree with you that we need to have this
person well in place before the convention, and I thank you in advance
for your early review of these materials.
Enclosed also, as I promised,is the report of the Task Force. I am going to try to allow at least an hour for discussion of this document at the Executive Board meeting.
You will also likely hear from me very soon about the budget. There are some concerns here, and I would value your consultation in making decisions.
