Subject: Authorization for committee travel funds to INS meeting in Seattle
I apologize for the tardiness of this request for travel funds, however, I have had considerable difficulty scheduling the exact times for the meetings with the INS committee members. A change in their membership has delayed this action until we were able to confirm the days and times for our meeting, which were finalized only today. Hopefully this late submission can be expedited so that both Diane and I have authorization for travel and expenses.
We have now arranged a meeting for Thursday morning at 10:00 AM, February 9, 1995 and another meeting for Saturday morning (exact time to be determined), February 11, 1995 in the Juniper Room (second level) of the Sheraton, Seattle. We will in the initial meeting finalize a joint agenda (ASHA members preliminary agenda is attached) and pursue this agenda throughout this and the final meeting.
This face-to-face meeting was budgeted in this years committee budget and is absolutely necessary in order to continue the relatively long standing work of this committee.The total new membership on this committee from both the Neuropsychology group and the ASHA group, along with the setting of a totally new agenda necessitates this face-to-face meeting.
