Rare Book Cataloger
Areas of Responsibility
As Rare Book Cataloger in Special Collections, I am responsible for cataloging books printed before 1800, as well as other complex printed materials housed in the Rare Book Collection, the McIlhenny Natural History Collection, and the Rare section of the Louisiana and Lower Mississippi Valley Collections. I also provide reference service in the Special Collections reading room and serve at the public service desk of Hill Memorial Library.
Additionally, I am the liaison librarian for the Department of French Studies and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. In this capacity, I am responsible for collection development and collection management of resources in these subject areas housed in, or under the purview of, Middleton Library. I provide research consultation, library orientations, and subject-focused class sessions both in Middleton and Hill for students and faculty of my liaison departments.
