The data holdings cover a broad range of disciplines, including political science, sociology, demography, economics, history, education, gerontology, criminal justice, public health, foreign policy, and law. ICPSR encourages social scientists in all fields to contribute to and utilize ICPSR's data resources.
LSU is a member of ICPSR and information can be also obtained via the Louisiana Population Data Center. Although the Center is housed in the Department of Sociology, its mission is to serve social science researchers throughout the University.
