Provides full text for more than 8,500 scholarly business journals and other sources including full text for more than 1,100 peer reviewed business publications. This database features articles from the world's top management and marketing journals.

Electronic access begins with 1998.

Communication & Mass Media Complete
Provides quality research in the areas related to communication and mass media. This database originated with the acquisition and subsequent merging of two popular databases in the fields of communication and mass media studies-- CommSearch and Mass Media Articles Index. CMMC offers full text to over 200 titles and contains citation coverage for additional sources.

Index to Journals in Communication Studies through 1995 Ref P87.5M35 1997
Provides the table of contents for 24 journals in communication studies as well as an author index and a keyword index.

LexisNexis Academic
Provides full-text to news, business, legal and reference information. This also includes U.S. Supreme Court decisions, lower court cases, television news transcripts, news releases, and company reports. Coverage will vary depending on source.

Vanderbilt Television News Archive
The Television News Archive collection at Vanderbilt University is the world's most extensive and complete archive of television news. The collection holds more than 30,000 individual network evening news broadcasts from the major U.S. national broadcast networks: ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, and more than 9,000 hours of special news-related programming including ABC's Nightline since 1989.

Provides a broad coverage of mass communication terminology. It has a heavy British emphasis.

Compilations of facts, definitions, and descriptions for topics relevant to American journalism.

STATISTICAL SOURCES

LexisNexis Statistical (formerly Statistical Universe)
Provides statistical information from American Statistics Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI) and Index to International Statistics (IIS) as well as Statistical Abstract of the United States. It also gives full-text for some publications beginning in 1995.

Mediamark Research Most recent edition available on CD-ROM at the Ref Desk. Older paper edition available on Ref Index Table 6 HF5415.3 M4
Provides data on product consumption and on media exposure to print, radio, television, cable, outdoor and yellow pages.

Simmons Study of Media and Markets CD-ROM Available at the Ref Desk
Provides statistical information on the U.S. consumer market measuring adult use of particular products and mass media. It's divided into a Product Series(25 vols.) and Media Series (8 vols.). The Media Series provides audience analyses covering print, broadcast, and cable media.

Provides a cumulative listing of biographical profiles both current and retrospective included in biographical dictionaries, subject encyclopedias and volumes of literary criticism.
