Accounting Services, file notes, photocopies of invoices,

photocopies of receipts, NCR copies of requisitions sent to

Budget and planning, photocopies of Requests for Budget

Adjustment sent to Office of the Dean, and computer-generated

Invoices Paid During the period Reports received from Accounting

Services.

RETENTION: Retain 2 years in office, then 5 years in Records

Center, then destroy by landfill.

 

CORRESPONDENCE FILES, 1951-1979 (OBSOLETE)

This series contains off-campus correspondence and off-campus

near-print informational material.

RETENTION: Transfer ot University Archives.

 

DIRECTOR ADMINISTRATIVE FILES

This series contains campus and off-campus correspondence, offcampus near-print informational material, photocopies of procedural guidelines, Five-Year Plan/Strategic Planning report sent to Office of the Dean, course reading lists, file notes, brochures, examination questions, and photocopies of Equipment Inventory reports received from Property Control.

RETENTION: Correspondence: Retain 5 years in office, then destroy by shredding then landfill. All other contents: Retain in office while active or until superseded, then destroy by landfill.

 

GRADUATE STUDENT FILES

This series contains campus and off-campus correspondence, graduate applications, photocopies of registration cards received from Student Records and Registration, photocopies of request for examinations sent to Graduate School, ph9tocopies of examinations taken, Credentials Analysis received from Admissions, photocopies of GRE reports, Programs of Study sent to Graduate School, minority recruitment information, and Graduate School applicants reports received from Graduate School.

RETENTION: Retain in office 5 years after graduation term or term of last attendance, then destroy by shredding then landfill.

This series contains campus correspondence and course descriptions.

RETENTION: Retain 5 years in office, then destroy by shredding then recycling.
