LSU Ingenta
(formerly UnCover)
LSU ingenta provides over 11 million citations to articles from more than
20,000 journals. Within the gateway, you will be able to freely access the electronic
(html and pdf)
full-text of articles from those publications to which we have subscription rights.
If LSU is not a subscriber, document delivery of electronic and faxed copies of
articles are available. Articles can also be ordered via Interlibrary Borrowing
in Middleton Library.
Anyone with an LSU email account can use the Reveal Research Alerts current awareness
service. Tables of contents from your favorite journals and citations for articles in
your areas of interest are sent directly to you via email.
For more information on the LSU Ingenta document delivery and Reveal service, please see

Annual Review, Inc.
"The Scientific Review The mission of Annual Reviews Inc. is
to provide systematic, periodic examinations of scholarly advances in a
number of fields of science through critical authoritative reviews. The
comprehensive critical review not only summarizes a topic but also roots
out errors of fact or concept and provokes discussion that will lead to
new research activity. The critical review is an essential part of the
scientific method."

"Because the ChemFinder WebServer is a chemical database, it
can also provide information that a general-purpose WWW index cannot, including
physical property data and 2D chemical structures. This information is
somewhat sparse at the moment, but is very good for the thousand-or-so
most-common compounds. We are constantly working on getting more data,
and we expect the ChemFinder WebServer only to keep improving." Source:

"Welcome to WebNMR - This site was established to provide chemistry
students with NMR spectral problems. Interpretation of NMR spectra is a
technique that requires practice - this site provides 1H NMR

interpret. Hopefully, these problems will provide a useful resource to
better understand NMR spectroscopy.

To help answer some of these question, we'll probably need a deeper
understanding of pesticides. We'll tell you some of the important facts,
and then we'll discuss one of the most important and controversial pesticide,
DDT.

Pesticides
: An Introduction
The point is, if we are using some type of chemical to control these
pests, that chemical would be considered a pesticide. Although most modern
pesticides are much safer than their predecessors, a few of our commonly
used pesticides are considered to xic.
-
Pesticides
Store pesticides behind locked doors in original containers with label
intact, separate from seed, fertilizer, and other pesticides. At a minimum,
wear a long-sleeved shirt, long-legged pants, rubber gloves, boots (never

PNSP - Pesticides
in the Atmosphere Abstract...
A comprehensive review of existing literature on the occurrence and
distribution of pesticides in the atmosphere of the United States showed
that the atmosphere is an important part of the hydrologic cycle that acts
to distribute and deposit pesticides in areas far removed from their application
sites. A compilation of existing data shows that pesticides have been detected
in the atmosphere.
