The union catalog allows you to search any or all of the Louisiana academic library catalogs at the same time. Searching the union catalog will return a list of items, along with the various libraries that own them. Use this catalog if you are searching for a specific title and you’d like to know which Louisiana libraries own it, or you are looking for materials that your home library does not own. Once you have found materials that you would like to borrow from another library, you should contact your home library to find out if you are eligible for a LALINC borrowing card, or if you can request materials via Interlibrary loan. What is your home library? If you are an active student, faculty or staff member at a college or university, your home library is your institution’s library. If you are a member of the general public, your home library is your local public library.
