IPEDS Peer Analysis System: "The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Peer Analysis System is a tool designed to enable a user to easily compare a postsecondary institution of the user's choice to a group of peer institutions, also selected by the user. This is done by generating reports using selected IPEDS variables of interest."
MOLIS: Minority Online Information Services: Telnet site. Formerly the InterNIC's Guide, provides information on primarily science-related programs. Focuses primarily on institutions with predominantly black or hispanic enrollments. Includes information on scholarship, financial aid, job opportunities, etc.
IPEDS College Opportunities On-Line: "College Opportunities On-Line is brought to you by the National Center for Education Statistics in the U.S. Department of Education. ScholarSite (formerly ScholarSearch): From the Department of Energy and TIYM Publishing Company, ScholarSearch is a free financial aid search engine enabling prospective students to "investigate financial aid opportunities offered by universities, colleges, research institutions, corporations, and other organizations." Presently there are several hundred thousand "educational opportunities [from] the pre-college to the post-doctoral/professional level" in the database. There are several searches available, as well as links to related resources on the home page.
