ABSOLUTELY! There is a very easy way to find out. The call number for ALL of the complete
works by various composers begins with M3.
- Choose CALL NUMBER SEARCH from the right side of the search screen:

- Fill in the search with "m3," then a SPACE then the first initial of the composer you are looking for.
We'll use "Debussy" for our example.

Your results will begin like this:

2b. So does this mean you have ALL of the works by Debussy at
this call number?
NOT NECESSARILY! This edition of the Debussy Complete Works isn't complete yet! In other
words, NOT ALL THE VOLUMES HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED. Check this index screen or the CONTENTS NOTE
(#1 in this example) for the volumes we own.

2c. Why do some of the complete works library catalog records have detailed contents
notes, and some have only general contents notes?
This is because many of the complete works sets have over 100 volumes and a detailed
contents note would not be feasible.
2d. You say the online catalog records for Complete Works don't all have detailed
contents notes. So if I do a keyword search for something that is found only in a
complete works edition, I MIGHT NOT FIND WHAT I WANT EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN THE COMPLETE EDITION?
What do I do then?
Check in either of these Reference books or see the librarian:
