Guide to French Language Sources on the Internet

Welcome to the French Webliography for the French Children's Literature Collection of the LSU Libraries, housed in our LSU Libraries Education Resource Center. Here, we have tried to point you to as many French resources on the Internet as possible; and not merely those directly related to Children's Literature, but also those links of a broader nature to cover the areas of French Culture/Language/Literature and even current events. We hope this page will act as a springboard to the wonderful world of French on the Internet, in all its various manifestations. Below, we have broken down the links into broad categories to make your search a bit more efficient. Enjoy your immersion.

Literature/Children's Literature

• The Alternative French Dictionary - part of an "internet collaborative project"; contains slang terms not likely to be found in normal dictionaries

• World of Reading - source for foreign language materials for many different languages. Contains a catalog of French language books as well as audio and video materials. (Nice selection of videos ranging from animated children's to Asterix videos to popular movies)
