Finding Periodical Articles

Locations of Periodical Literature - cont.

• This record tells you that Newsweek is available from a number of different databases. Each database includes different dates. For example:
  • Newsweek is available in Academic Search Premier. "1990 - " means that it is available starting in 1990 through the most current issues.
  • Newsweek is available in LexisNexis Academic. "1975-01-06 -" means that it is available starting January 6, 1975 through the most current issues.

• This recored tells you that Newsweek is located in a number of places in the library:
  • Volume 4:no.1(1934:July 7) through volume 147:no.26(2006:June 26), older issues, are available in the stacks. Just look for the call number.
  • Volume 148:no.4 (2006:July 24) through volume 148:no.19 (2006:Nov. 6) are current issues. The current issues are in the Current Periodicals Room Just look for the call number.
    
    
  • Volume 75:no.1(1970:Jan.5) through Volume 147:no.26(2006:June 26) are also available on Microfiche.
  • Volume 1:no.1(1933:Feb.17)through Volume 4:no.26(1934:Dec.29) are also available on Microfilm.
