Locations of Periodical Literature - cont.

To figure out what format a journal is and where it is in the library, go to the LSU Libraries online catalog and do a "periodical title" search for the name of your journal.

Type the Journal name in the Periodicals Title box

For example, when you look up Newsweek, the catalog gives you the following results:

Catalog tells you which issues we have

The first result says "SEE ELECTRONIC ADDRESS" and has the button. This is the record for any issues which are available full text online.

The second result has a call number. This is the record for any non-electronic issues available.

Click on the

button to find out exactly which issues are availble.
