Michael Russo - User Instruction Coordinator
B.A. in Communications from Loyola
M.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee
M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University.

Prior to coming to LSU Libraries, worked for the New Orleans Public Library for 3 years, taught composition and literature for 5 years at Xavier University in New Orleans. Most recently, worked in Reference and Government Documents at the LSU law school library.

Prior to coming to LSU Libraries in July of 2004, employed as a teacher for the Lincoln Consolidated School District in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Mitch Fontenot

Prior to arriving at LSU in July of 2004, worked at Front Range Community College, University of Colorado, University of Nebraska, Texas State Law Library, and LSU. Also sailed around the world on the Semester at Sea program (Semester At Sea) in the spring of 2001 as their assistant librarian.

Prior to coming to LSU Libraries in 2007, taught Philosophy for 6 years at Canisius College and other institutions in the Buffalo area. Also worked at Talking Leaves Books, a landmark independent bookstore in Buffalo, for 12 years.
