Prior to coming to LSU Libraries in August of 2005, worked for the Pellissippi Community College Libraries (Tennessee). Formerly employed in U.S. defense industry in quality assurance (information and assessment), and earlier as a trainer and computer analyst.

Also sailed around the world on the Semester at Sea program (www.semesteratsea.com) in the spring of 2001 as their assistant librarian.
