LSU LibrariesOff-campus access to most of the LSU Libraries' databases is available to LSU affiliates by entering your Tiger Card ID Number (found on your Tiger Card).
There are a few exceptions. Some of our databases require that you retrieve a special password using your PAWS account. Logon to PAWS, click Library Resources on the left toolbar, and select Off-Campus access. Follow the instructions.
If you have trouble accessing databases, please see the Troubleshooting Guide. The configurations for the computer you are using appear in a gray box on the left. The recommended configurations appear on the right. Included is information on firewall problems and Windows XP. If you are attempting access from your workplace, there might be a firewall in place. Discuss this with your systems administrator. Windows XP has a built-in firewall which can be disabled. Detailed information and instructions on all recommended configurations are included in the guide.
