Introduction to Web of Knowledge

Web of Knowledge is made up of a number of different components. This tutorial will deal with the three databases which collectively make up the "Web of Science":

Science Citation Index Expanded
Social Sciences Citation Index
Arts & Humanities Citation Index

These databases contain citations and abstracts of journal articles, as well as references cited by the authors of articles. Like most databases you can search these by topic, author, source title, etc, but you also may search by address and citation .

You have three search options: General, Cited Reference, and Advanced.
