Firstyear Writing Library Resources

  • Classrooms / Instructional Session Request Form:
    • Would you like to bring your students in for an introduction to the library and research here? We have classrooms available for just that sort of thing. Use this form to request a classroom for up to three times per section, per semester. If you would like more information about the rooms, see the "Classrooms" web page.
    • Would you like a member of the Middleton Library staff to meet with your class? Use this same form and choose "Yes" to the question "Would you like a member of the library staff to provide library instruction?"
    • These are links to some resources which might help students with their research, and help Instructors when teaching library skills to their classes.
    While the reference staff at Middleton Library would like to be able to meet with each of the Firstyear writing classes, demand and time constraints make this impossible. We meet with as many classes as possible, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. These links are intended as resources to help the Instructors when teaching library skills to their classes.
