This tutorial will show you how to use Academic Search Complete (ASC) to find articles in scholarly journals.

To navigate the tutorial, simply click the "Next" or "Back" tiger paws at the bottom of each page. This will walk you through the tutorial sequentially. If you would like to move between or skip around the sections of the tutorial, you may click on the "Contents" box on the left side of the screen. This brings out a hyperlinked Table of Contents to the tutorial. To hide the contents, click it again.

This tutorial should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

This tutorial is best viewed using Internet Explorer.

LSU Libraries has recently upgraded from the "Academic Search Preimer" database to "Academic Search Complete." The content of the tutorial has been updated to reflect this change, but we are still working on updating the images. Some of the images in this tutorial still say "Academic Search Preimer," but there is no difference in the way the databases work. Please bare with us.
