LIMITING A KEYWORD SEARCH BY FORMAT WHEN USING THE ONLINE CATALOG
How can I limit my search to retrieve only certain formats (score or sound recording) of a music title?
For example, if you were looking for
a score of the Bach Coffee Cantata, you might begin with this search:
You would get a long list of results including the following recordings, electronic resources and scores:
Now you can RESTRICT YOUR SEARCH to only scores (or sound recordings, etc.) by clicking on "Limit Search" in the bar above your Search Results:
On the "Limit Search" page, add a "material type" for "Music Score" as seen below:
This search will result in only scores of the Coffee Cantata.
