Books in the LSU Libraries:

Most of the books on classical literature and language studies are on the 3rd floor of the Middleton Library in the area starting with the call number PA.

Most of the books on classical mythology are on the second floor of the Middleton Library in the call number area BL700-820.

Most of the books on classical philosophy are on the second floor of the Middleton Library in the call number area B165 - B647.

High-use classics books and current encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference books are kept in the reference area on the first floor of the Middleton Library.

Classics Journals:

Middleton Library subscribes to a number of Classical Studies journals in many different formats such as print, microfilm, and online full-text databases and e-journals. If you are looking for articles on a particular topic use the journal indexes listed below.

Print Journals

The most recent issues of the Classics print journals are kept in the Current Periodicals room on the first floor. The older issues are shelved on the third floor by call number.
