Until further notice, we will be making call number flags for the pieces that we catalog for Special Collections.
This is the format we will use for most of the pieces:
RARE or LLMVC or UARCHIVES or MCILHENNY or USCW-YP (There are others, but we use these the most.)

The flag will be made with a formatted call number, as shown in the table below. Note: This differs from Unicorn format.
If the piece is oversized, or if it is in a special location, such as CAGE, COMP, FLAT, LSUPR (see Guide to Call Number Suffixes), the size or special location goes on the line after the location name -- so the suffix in Unicorn becomes a prefix on the flag. This is the correct format for those pieces:
