This series is published irregularly by the
Schwing Lecture Series Committee of Louisiana State University.
"The Schwing Library Lecture series originated as the LSU Library Lectures and was renamed in honor of Ella V. Aldrich Schwing in 1981...There have been sixty-four lectures by well-known members of the library community since the inception of this series. Being selected to be a Schwing lecturer is deemed an honor in the library and information science field; the roster of past presenters reads like a "Who's Who." -from the Forward by Dean Jennifer Cargill
