A Committee of the Visual Materials Section

Society of American Archivists

Mission:

    The Web Site Image Policies and Guidelines Committee of Visual Materials Section of the Society of American Archivists acts as a source of information regarding the publishing and use of images on the World Wide Web for the archival community. Its goal is to provide information regarding how to place images on the web, how to protect images placed on the web, policies regarding images for web use and guidelines for accomplishing these tasks. This committee will maintain a Web site containing this information.
