Mission:
The Web Site Image Policies
and Guidelines Committee of Visual Materials Section of the Society of
American Archivists acts as a source of information regarding the publishing
and use of images on the World Wide Web for the archival community. Its
goal is to provide information regarding how to place images on the web,
how to protect images placed on the web, policies regarding images for
web use and guidelines for accomplishing these tasks. This committee will
maintain a Web site containing this information.
