Society of American Archivists, Visual Materials Cataloging and Access Roundtable

Greetings! And welcome to the Visual Materials Section Cataloging and Access Roundtable (VMCAR). This Roundtable provides a forum for archivists and others working with visual collections to discuss cataloging and access issues including - but not limited to - description methods, digitization, cataloging tools and standards, and other esoteric topics.

We have included on these pages links to the Society of American Archivists (SAA) and our parent group, the Visual Materials (VM) Section of SAA. Here also are links for joining this Roundtable and subscribing to the VM CAR list. You may also take a look at our current officers, read the minutes of past meetings, and look at a list of links to image cataloging resources.
