Having approved the report by SAA's Task Force on Electronic
Publishing, SAA headquarters has moved to an all-electronic publishing environment. Views: The Newsletter of the Visual Materials Section of the Society of American Archivists is now issued solely in electronic format. This "wholly electronic" format began with the December 2004 issue. Publication months will continue to be April, August, and December with the intention of having the issue posted to the Web site by the 21st of the month preceeding official publication month (i.e. 21 March, 21 July, 21 November). In addition, the Section will announce the availability of the newsletter by posting a notice to the Visual Materials Listserv and the Archives & Archivists Listserv.
As you may know, we are in the process of indexing all the past issues of Views. As these indices become available we will provide access by volume number. Just go to the volume you are interested in and click on the "index" link.
Once we have all the indices completed we will provide access to a comprehensive index. To help move this effort along, anyone interested in indexing an issue or two of Views should feel free to contact Nancy Dosch, indexing coördinator.

N.B.: These issues of Views are presented in the PDF file format. If you need to download Adobe PDF Reader, click here to obtain a free copy of the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
If you are unable to open these PDF files with your current software you may have
an earlier version of Acrobat Reader. Upgrading to the latest version should solve the problem. |
